Field Sales Representative
AgEagle is seeking a self-motivated, relationship-oriented and driven sales professional with the ability to cultivate productive business relationships with key officials in state, tribal and local city governments across the nation with a goal of marketing AgEagle’s aerial imaging-based data collation, analytics and management solutions, namely HempOverview, a web-based data collection and scalable management app married with the power of map-based aerial imaging technology for use by state hemp program administrators, processors and growers to best manage registration, compliance and enforcement in domestic hemp cultivation; and ParkView, an aerial imaging-based data collection and management solution for use by municipal parks and recreations departments to better inform green infrastructure maintenance, irrigation cost management and natural resource preservation of urban green spaces.
The base of operations for AgEagle’s sales team will be centralized in Denver, Colorado. Working as part of an entrepreneurial team, this sales representative will interact with individuals within and external to the Company producing market research. It will be the sales representatives objective to identify key opportunities and discuss those opportunities with AgEagle management.
The Field Sales Representative (FSR) will utilize a consultative sales approach in the sales and marketing of AgEagle’s solutions to prospective new clients. He or she will be responsible for prospecting, assisting with preparation of comprehensive proposals and closing contracts to achieve designated sales revenue goals by developing and implementing sound selling strategies that ensure revenue growth.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, including:
Preparing for and executing cold calls to reach and influence potential commercial or government customers into setting appointments with the goal of presenting and selling AgEagle’s solutions.
Conducting pre-sales activities to gain understanding of the prospective client’s needs and prepare for the meeting accordingly. This includes gathering appropriate marketing material and pricing plans, identifying customer needs and interests to determine the best sales strategy and identifying potential objections with plans to address during the sales presentation.
Matching AgEagle solutions with client needs by demonstrating knowledge of clients, pricing and competition; conducting system demonstrations; effectively communicating pricing and service strategies; and proactively engaging other key AgEagle employees, as deemed appropriate, in sales presentations.
Interfacing with implementation team, system engineers and the CEO in developing specific account deliverables and ongoing management.
Representing the Company at outside events (i.e. trade shows, conferences, association meetings, et al.).
Experience selling integrated enterprise business applications software and apps
Ability to travel on a regular and/or demand basis
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
Time management, problem-solving and organizational skills are essential
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Additional Bonus Skills:
Experience with emphasis on strategic accounts in the government sector
Knowledge of the cannabis/hemp cultivation industry is very important and must be learned if not possessed
